It is over!
The 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo has come to an end and man what an E3 it was. I’m pretty broke as it is, but this E3 has left me feeling like I won’t have any extra money till… well, next E3.
There’s going to be a lot of banter around the interwebs about the current console war, and for good reason. Both sides, Microsoft and Sony, have tricks up their sleeves. To say now that one or the other side has won is foolish. The negatives for the Xbox One are apparent but at least Microsoft is being upfront about them. Sony seems a little bit too much like a weasel to me. They know exactly what the gamers want to hear and that’s exactly what they’ve said. I suspect, and I could be wrong. that Sony still has some things about the PS4 that they haven’t full announced yet.
Then there’s the games. I still haven’t had time to go through all the games and get an opinion but I plan to do so over the next few weeks. Expect more from me on that, just not this week.
Really, there’s not much else to say about E3 until I can see more games. I plan on buying an Xbox One (please funnel the hate mail to the comment section below) before I buy a PS4. I know that sort of opinion will garner much hate and disdain from a lot of hot heads but… that’s part of why I want the Xbox One. Most of the more vocal won’t be on it.
Like I was saying above, expect a more thorough analysis of E3 next week. I’ve just been too busy with summer classes starting that I haven’t had much of a chance to absorb all the content.
