I am ecstatic to announce that I will be taking part in the 3rd annual 8-Bit Salute by Operation Supply Drop, a fundraising event dedicated to providing our men and women overseas, as well as those injured and in the hospital, with gaming “care packages.” On May 17th I will be participating in a 24 hour gaming marathon with hundreds, if not thousands, of people around the country. Sounds like a normal weekend, doesn’t it?
Here’s what I need from you. If you are able, a donation towards the cause would be LEGENDARY. Every donation received is tax-deductible and going towards a great cause. If you can’t afford to make even a small donation, you can still help! Send a link to this post to anyone and everyone you know (and their cats). I think this is an awesome event and something worth being excited about but I can’t do anything without your support. Over the next month I will be trying to spread this as far and wide as I can, any help you might be able to give me would be appreciated more than you know.

I will have more details in the coming weeks about how I plan on participating on the actual event day, as well as any other miscellaneous information. Thanks for your help!
